HOYHEALTH Launches HoyDOC Mobile App Bilingual Tele-Health Platform

By Ken Briodagh
August 15, 2018

Hoy Health, a health-tech start-up that offers access to healthcare programs, recently announced the launch of its HoyDOC mobile app. HoyDOC is a bilingual telemedicine platform that connects patients to bilingual Spanish/English Medical providers.

Telemedicine and remote patient monitoring continue to expand significantly. The telemedicine market value is set to hit $36.2 billion by 2020, up from $14.3 billion in 20141. Additionally, 64 percent of Americans report they would attend an appointment via video telehealth, according to an American Well 2015 Telehealth Survey. This new technology can benefit underserved populations that have limited access to care. Important to note that the telehealth services have similar quality and satisfaction rates as traditional care, resolving in the choosing moment and location of the patient more than 80 percent of the common problems that are seen in a clinic.

HoyDOC mobile app is designed as a solution for patients seeking remote affordable healthcare access in their own language. The bilingual telemedicine platform connects patients to bilingual Spanish/English Medical providers and helps patients to carry their health data with them and access it anytime. It is HIPAA and HITECH compliant and provides a secure platform for patient/medical professional interaction.

“The HoyDOC mobile app gets us one step closer to providing a complete primary health bilingual ecosystem and one step closer to fulfilling our mission of providing accessible and affordable healthcare to everyone, everywhere!” said Mario Anglada, CEO, Hoy Health.

HoyDOC mobile app can be downloaded and available for iOS and Android users.
